Senior Account Executive

Paramount FMS is a single source provider of Office Furniture, Commercial Move Services, Warehousing, Liquidation, Project Management, Installation Services and Furniture Asset Management. A licensed dealer of over 100 different product lines from workstations, desking and seating to conference, collaboration, lounge and filing.

Paramount is currently looking for a Senior Account Executive. This role would be based out of corporate headquarters in Branchburg, New Jersey.

Responsibilities:
  • Initiate and uncover new sales opportunities through networking and cold calling clients design / architectural firms and commercial brokers
  • Build Customer relationships with existing clients
  • Develop a network with like peers outside and within the industry with the intent of identifying and sharing lead information
  • Collaborate with in-house and partner designers and architects to achieve client goals
  • Maintain knowledge of our featured products and services as well as the contract furniture industry including design concepts, trends, and applications
  • Participate in personal and professional development through continuing education and appropriate business and professional organizations
  • Develop, maintain, and nurture a professional network within the community

Qualifications:
  • 5-7 years of relevant workplace experience managing stakeholder relationships as well as a knowledge of furniture products, trends, and market dynamics
  • Extensive channel resources with offline distributors and dealers of relative commodities 
  • Ability and experience in direct customer expansion.
  • Familiarity with the U.S. market, with a certain level of market analysis and forecasting capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, able to effectively promote products and solve customer issues.
  • Proven experience in furniture sales, preferably within the moving and relocation industry.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.

***This role is IN Person at Paramount's Corporate HQ in Branchburg, NJ but will require travel to meet and fulfill customer needs.
